Whistleblower protection
Whistleblower protection. We take responsibility
Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (“Whistleblower Directive”) and the Act for Better Protection of Whistleblowers (Whistleblower Protection Act – HinSchG) are intended to ensure that breaches can be reported easily, securely and confidentially.
To implement these legal provisions, the tempLED Group has set up a joint internal office. Our employees and other persons who have a professional relationship with us can contact this internal office and report violations. We provide a reporting channel in the form of an online form application for this purpose.
At the request of the person making the report, we can also arrange a personal meeting with the internal office. A request in this regard should be sent to the following e-mail address: hinweisgeberschutz@templed.de
The internal reporting office will review incoming reports and take appropriate follow-up measures.
Whistleblowers can also report violations directly to an external office.
Information on our reporting channel
Violations can be reported both personally and anonymously via our online form application. In both cases, it is mandatory to state on the form which tempLED Group company the report relates to.
After the report has been submitted, a randomly generated 16-digit numerical code is automatically generated, which enables (anonymous) queries about the current processing status of the report and (anonymous) contact with our internal office using the chat function.
Information in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation
If a report is made via our reporting channel, the personal data provided will be processed by the internal office insofar as this is necessary to fulfill its legal tasks (§ 10 HinSchG).
Documentation from the internal office is stored for a period of three years after completion of the procedure and then deleted, unless there is a legal basis for longer storage under the General Data Protection Regulation or another legal provision (Section 11 HinSchG).
Further information on data protection and the rights of data subjects can be found on our website.
